Machine Maintenance Course

Maximising Performance, Minimising Downtime
On Thursday 4 September, a group of franchisees attended our hands-on Machine Maintenance Course at Alltec, expertly delivered by Dave Harrison.
The session focused on how to get the most out of your carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment through simple, consistent maintenance practices. Dave covered everything from routine checks to troubleshooting, sharing his practical knowledge and tips built up over years in the field.
The session covered:
Daily and weekly maintenance routines to keep machines running smoothly
Identifying and fixing minor issues before they become costly repairs
Best practices for cleaning and maintaining equipment for peak efficiency
Essential spare parts and tools every van should carry
Troubleshooting techniques to stay operational and avoid downtime
The training provided both new and experienced franchisees with valuable insights to protect their investment, improve reliability, and maximise time spent on the job.
If you missed this session but would like to attend in future, please let Head Office know so we can arrange another date based on demand.
Thank you to Dave Harrison for leading such an informative and practical session, and to Alltec for hosting us.
By making maintenance a regular habit, you can avoid unexpected breakdowns, deliver consistent results to customers, and save both time and money.
