The Misery of Moths

July 05, 2018
The damage carpet moths can cause is incredible. How can such a tiny creature wreak such havoc on our carpets and rugs?
The summer months may bring the sun and warmer weather but they are also the time when carpet moths are at their worst. The carpet moth lays its eggs in the quieter, darker and undisturbed areas of carpets and rugs where they lie dormant for approximately 4 to 10 days before they hatch. The adults are relatively harmless and only live for two to three months, but the problem lies with egg laying and it is very easy for an infestation to get out of hand, hence the need to deal with both adult and larvae stages of the carpet moth life cycle.

Safeclean by Guardsman have developed an effective solution to eradicate any unwanted infestations of carpets and rugs. Using an industry leading treatment, you can be sure that your home will be rid of any adult moths and their larvae. With moth infestations on the increase and each female moth laying around 200 eggs in their short lifetime, it is important to act fast to rid the moths from your home and prevent further damage to your carpets and rugs.
